Topics: 1.Introduction to the study of place, development of knowledge of this concept 2. Place as a means of contemporary cognition (Heidegger, Malpas). 3. The concept of place in human geography. 4. Home as a specific concept of place. 5.A individual and place with a focus on spatiality. 6. Place and its potential in education.

Learning outcomes
The student uses humanistic geographical methods in his / her chosen place of his/her personal experience, which he/she compares with humanely positivist geographical methods. It combines "objective", "subjective" and "intersubjective" approaches.
