The course builds on the literary-historical and literary-scientific study disciplines from Bachelor studies. Its main focus is to introduce selected contemporary tendencies in the field of literary development of German-speaking countries. The image of contemporary German literature is illustrated by means of representative works, or excerpts from the literary works of contemporary authors. At the same time, it is illustrated on the socio-political and cultural background between the 1990s to the present.
