Course content
Exercises: 1. Assignment of semester topic, glass object and jewel and its box. 2.- 3. Designing with regard to design development and new technologies. 4.- 5. Designing - sketches, models, first tests in material. 6. Research and selection of new non-traditional materials and technologies for implementation, cooperation with external manufacturers. 7. Models in glass and selected materials. 8.- 11. Realization of objects and jewellery in specialized workshops and selected establishments, possible follow-up cooperation with individual companies. 12. Assembly and adjustment of realized jewelry. 13. Documentation of photographic sequences in digital form. 14. Preparation for presentation on semestral exhibition, defense and evaluation of the committee.

Learning outcomes
The semester topic responds to contemporary design developments, new technologies and materials that are the result of research across the Faculty of Textile and other faculties. The search for novel art is based on the experimental design of glass and jewelry. Designs and realization of jewellry and boxes for them are based on the technology used, which will influence their final form. This course is taught in the form of studio teaching.

Prerequisites
Professional knowledge acquired in previous studies. The condition is a fulfilled subject Practice of Designing of Glass and Jewelery 2 (KDE/PNS2).

Assessment methods and criteria
Presentation of artistic and creative activities

Credit: active participation in seminars. Examination: submission and defense of semestral work before the art committee at the final semestral exhibition.
