The course will provide students with selected information from human physiology and other biomedical disciplines. The lectures and exercises will discuss the basic principles of human functioning in health and disease and measuring and imaging methods to monitor this functioning. The course will provide basic information that is essential as a biomedical basis for further understanding the use of artificial materials in the human body.
