Course content
|
Excercises: 1. Introduction to the thematic assignment and the content of the semester work. Clarification of the process of forming a fabric. Processing the inspirational diary. Four thematic lectures on realizations in individual textile techniques. 2. Transfer design to templates for processing in textile techniques. Creation of stylizations for realization in textile material and their discussion. Designing color designs and interesting styling in the form of stripes 3. Choice of pattern variant for processing in textile techniques. Acquaintance with technologies and materials that are suitable for creation of selected design implementations 4. - 5. Woven fabric technology. Realization of fabric design on weaving frame 6. - 7. Textile Printing Technology. Possibilities of manual screen printing and realization of printed fabric. 8. - 9. Weft knitting technology and realization a knitted sample 10. - 11. Implementation of the design in the form of a textured fabric. The combination of sewing techniques and other textile processes. 12. Design of fabric. Realization of fabric in the size determined by technology proposal of suitable presentation of semester work. 13. Proposal of utilization of realized fabric in the form of simple visualizations. Finishing of textile realizations, fixation and adjustment. Presentation of works. 14. Submission of work on semester classification before the committee.

Learning outcomes
|
The basic principle of the subject is the design of a fabric pattern. The design of the pattern, elaboration and pattern repeat is the essence of textile disintegration and it is applied to the technology of screen printing and digital printing of fabric. This course is taught in the form of studio teaching.
Within this subject student gains practical experience from his field of study.

Presentation of artistic and creative activities
Credit: active participation in seminars. Exam: presentation and defense of semester work before the art committee at the final semester exhibition.
