The aim of the course History of Western Thought II is to acquaint students with the basic concepts of the relationship between man and the world, as they were formed in European thought from the French Revolution to the present. Emphasis will be placed on naming and explaining the basic thought patterns that have helped historically shape our current understanding of the world. Representative texts corresponding to individual lectures will be interpreted and discussed within the seminar teaching.
