The course introduces the student to questions that relate to a sufficient reason for educating a person to humanities. The issue of education is shown against the background of existentialist and phenomenological philosophical tradition. The course also includes the reading and interpretation of texts by authors who have dealt with the philosophy of education in the Czech environment and are further developing this field.
