The aim of the course is to introduce students to the practical skills of research in both natural and human approaches of contemporary geography, with emphasis on the stimuli received from the international environment. The seminars combine the explanatory part with practical demonstrations and time for questions or discussion. Students will further develop the ability to formulate stimulating research problems, elaborate its connection with theoretical grounding and choose appropriate methods for its implementation. Several smaller practical tasks during the course will be the basis of the final written work in the form of a research project.
