Learning outcomes |
The third series of the core lectures of building construction. It focuses on assembly structures of perimeter cladding (external fillings of openings and their additional constructions) and internal assembly constructions (floors, partitions, internal fillings of openings). For floors and partitions, it deals in more detail with compositions, details and material solutions. Other topics include fire safety design of buildings and challenges as well as radon issues in buildings. Seminars focus on the application of knowledge about roofs and perimeter cladding, specifically in the creation of details, and on the application of knowledge about the construction systems of hall buildings, specifically the elaboration of the assigned construction system. Lectures: 1.-2. Assembly construction of perimeter cladding - requirements, standards, materials 3.-4. Outer hole fillings 5.-6. Additional constructions of filling holes 7. Internal assembly construction - floors, 8. Internal assembly structures - partitions 9.-10. Internal hole fillings 11. Fire safety solutions for buildings 12. Radon issues 13. Professional field trip
The third of four-semestral course of building structures. The student will be able to design oneself the envelopes of buildings (façade walls and flat roofs). The student will be able to design oneself the vertical traffic routes. Also, he will understand types and composition of hall buildings. |
